SIP trunking for professional services firms
Help clients reach the right attorney, accountant or consultant directly, with call records your firm can rely on.
What is SIP trunking?
SIP trunking replaces traditional phone lines with voice service delivered over your internet connection. Your existing PBX connects to Resonance Telcom using SIP, the standard protocol for internet calling, and we connect your calls to the public phone network.
Instead of paying for a fixed bundle of copper lines, you pay for the number of simultaneous calls you actually need, and you can change that number from a portal in minutes.
The benefits of SIP trunking for professional services firms
Direct numbers for every professional
Give each attorney, accountant or consultant a direct number so clients skip the switchboard.
Lower monthly costs
Pay for simultaneous calls rather than a line per desk, and adjust as your headcount changes.
Offices on one account
Run every office on one account with trunks and numbers managed from a single portal.
Detailed call records
Search and export call records by number and date to support client billing and follow-up.
Keep your current PBX
Connect the phone system your firm already uses. Desk phones and extensions stay the same.
Why firms choose Resonance Telcom
- Clients reach the person they need, at a number that stays with that person.
- Exportable call records support time tracking and client billing.
- Multiple offices run on one account with central management.
FAQs
Can every attorney or accountant have a direct number?
Yes. Order a number for each professional and route it to their extension in your phone system.
Can we export call records?
Yes. Call records can be searched in the portal and exported for your own reporting or billing.
Do we need new phones?
No. Your phones connect to your PBX as they do today. Only the connection behind the PBX changes.
