SIP trunking for hotels and hospitality
Connect guests to the front desk, restaurant and spa on the property phone system you already run, with capacity that follows the season.

What is SIP trunking?
SIP trunking replaces traditional phone lines with voice service delivered over your internet connection. Your existing PBX connects to Resonance Telcom using SIP, the standard protocol for internet calling, and we connect your calls to the public phone network.
Instead of paying for a fixed bundle of copper lines, you pay for the number of simultaneous calls you actually need, and you can change that number from a portal in minutes.
The benefits of SIP trunking for hotels and resorts
Lower line costs
Swap aging copper lines for SIP channels sized to the calls your property really handles.
Direct numbers for front desk, restaurant and spa
Give each outlet its own number so reservations and requests reach the right team without a transfer.
Capacity for peak season
Add channels for summer, conventions or holidays, then scale back when occupancy settles.
Properties on one account
Manage every hotel in your portfolio from one portal, with separate trunks and numbers for each property.
Keep your existing PBX
Connect the hospitality phone system you already rely on. Room phones and guest workflows stay the same.
Why hotels choose Resonance Telcom
- Guests reach the right desk on the first try, which means fewer transfers and fewer missed bookings.
- Capacity follows your occupancy instead of being fixed for the busiest week of the year.
- Your current PBX and room phones stay in place, so there is nothing new for staff to learn.
FAQs
Do we have to replace our hotel PBX?
No. If your PBX supports SIP, it connects directly. Older systems can usually connect through a SIP gateway.
Can we add capacity for events?
Yes. Add channels in the portal ahead of a conference or busy weekend and remove them afterward.
Can each outlet have its own number?
Yes. Order numbers for the restaurant, spa, sales office or any other outlet and route them in your phone system.
Ready to move your phones to SIP?
Tell us about your phone system and how many calls you handle. We will put together a plan that fits.
